Is it an advantage to give importance to our preferred learning style or is it a dangerous thing?
There are many different learning styles, many people have a preferred learning style, although it is possible to learn in more than one style. Is it beneficial to always learn in that preferred style or is it better to learn using other learning styles. Pritchard A (2009) stated “We learn in different ways from each other and we often choose to use what has become known as a preferred learning style” (p.42).
I enjoyed writting the piece and could relate to some of the statements made by the theorists from experiance I have had through working as a supervisor at a day nursery and as a teaching assistant in the Foundation Phase. I also looked into Inclusion, I also enjoyed reading about this. During research week I had too move house due to very problematic neighbours which over the last two months, leaving me with lack of sleep and due to the noise i have found it very difficult to study!! I have now moved into a lovely flat, my kitten Honey loves it, so do I, and im already finding it easier to get on with my work!!
